The Falconers Folk Dance Club is a registered club of the English Folk Dance and Song Society.

The Falconers Folk Dance Club meets during September to May at the Falcon Hotel, Bromyard, Herefordshire, UK. Club meetings are mostly alternate Sundays 7.45pm to 10.30pm.

Whether you have done a lot of dancing or none, the Club will make you welcome and help you have an enjoyable evening. Come with a partner or alone.

Attending the Club is inexpensive. Members pay £5 membership and £3 for each normal club night; non-members pay £4 per normal club night. A higher charge is made for party nights which include a buffet supper.

COVID precautions

We shall need to comply with any rules imposed by the Falcon Hotel. Fortunately, the ballroom is large and airy and we expect the windows to be open so ventilation should not be an issue. Obviously, almost all folk dances involve hand contact, which some people may feel uncomfortable with and may wish to avoid. We will all need to be sensitive to each other on this. We hope to have hand sanitiser available in the Ballroom.

The committee assume that almost everyone likely to attend will be double vaccinated. Anyone who is unable to be vaccinated, or anyone who feels unwell with any symptoms should take a Lateral Flow Test before coming to Club, for their own safety as well that of others.

Draft Programme for 2021/2022 can be seen here.

The Club has been running for over 40 years. See the history page.
